Renewable Energy to Help the Economy
Posted May 2nd, 2010 by MikeStuartThis economy or ours is not looking good. We are just one small disaster away from global meltdown. This newest spill in the gulf coast has to be a wake up call. If we keep using oil as or man source of energy or economy will tank it's just a matter of time.

Last week the Wall Street Journal published a ridiculous op-ed titled "Climate Science in Denial" claiming that "global warming alarmists have been discredited, but you wouldn't know it from the rhetoric this Earth Day."
Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic does an exceptional job dismantling this ridiculous claim:

Al Gore on Rachel Maddow MSNBC Show
Posted November 5th, 2009 by GOPstopperHi all, long time, eh?
I saw Al Gore on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show last night (I got my cable reconnected after going for 2 months without - but that's another story). The interview was in 2 short segments. By now Gore is so comfortable with all the usual questions, even the tough ones, like the ones about his one-time running-mate, whose name I won't mention.
Anyone else see it? What did ya think?
Motorcycle Helmets
Posted November 1st, 2009 by jncruz22The history of the motorcycle helmet is one directly related to the increasing abilities of motorcycles themselves. In the era of Gottlieb Daimler's first motorcycle in 1885, helmets were not necessary.

Face Adversity with a Smile
Posted October 13th, 2009 by TheLifehackerI told my friend Graham that I often cycle the two miles from my house to the town centre but unfortunately there is a big hill on the route. He replied, ‘You mean fortunately.’ He explained that I should be glad of the extra exercise that the hill provided.

How We Talk About the Environment Has Everything to Do with Whether We'll Save It
Posted May 20th, 2009 by Medullan Marauderhttp://www.alternet.org/environment/140138/how_we_talk_about_the_environ...
EcoAmerica is soon to make public a report on the framing of the environment called "Climate and Energy Truths: Our Common Future." The New York Times, on May 1, 2009, ran a front-page story on the report by John M. Broder called "Seeking to save the Planet, with a Thesaurus." It amounted to a belittlement of the report.
