This economy or ours is not looking good. We are just one small disaster away from global meltdown. This newest spill in the gulf coast has to be a wake up call. If we keep using oil as or man source of energy or economy will tank it's just a matter of time.

I saw Al Gore on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show last night (I got my cable reconnected after going for 2 months without - but that's another story). The interview was in 2 short segments. By now Gore is so comfortable with all the usual questions, even the tough ones, like the ones about his one-time running-mate, whose name I won't mention.

Anyone else see it? What did ya think?

The New York Times, on May 1, 2009, ran a front-page story on the report by John M. Broder called "Seeking to save the Planet, with a Thesaurus." It amounted to a belittlement of the report.
