Republicans counting on voter's short memory

The Republicans are counting on the voters to still have a short memory this election year. If you don't know where you have been, how can you know where you are going to?

1. They don't want you to remember that Republicans were the ones who crashed the economy.
2. They don't want you to remember that Republicans started two wars that we are still paying for.
3. They don't want you to remember that bank bailouts (TARP) happened on their watch.

Do Republicans Deserve a Reward?

By Robert Parry - January 11, 2010

These days, I rarely open an e-mailed article from someone on the Left that doesn’t denounce President Barack Obama as a sell-out, a corporate tool, a coward or worse – with similar assessments applied to the Democratic leadership in Congress.

And that anger on the Left – as much the Obama-is-a-commie/Nazi/anti-Christ fury on the Right – seems likely to shape the political outcomes in 2010, possibly starting with the special election in Massachusetts on Jan. 19 to fill the late Edward Kennedy’s Senate seat.

There's been talk that George W. Bush was so inept that he should trademark the phrase "Worst President Ever," though some historians would bestow that title on pre-Civil War President James Buchanan. Still, a case could be made for putting Ronald Reagan in the competition.

Their End Game

Their End Game:

Conservatives are going to get the vote out with force in the next few days. At least 80% of their base will be fired up to beat Obama... they believe the conservative propaganda in their hearts.

Obama can use black preachers & "The Elderly Mothers of the church" as a counter. Having a black president in the greatest country in the history of the world would change the image of black men & family in America.

"It is time to go to Black Churches big time!"

Joe the plumber logic

Joe the plumber lives in the middle class. He earns a middle class wage. But, Joe the plumbers wants the tax cuts to go to the rich over the middle class becuase he aspires to be rich one day.

Our plumber friend seems to believe that two birds in the Bu$h is worth more than the one bird in his hand.

Joe the plumber's logic is proof that conservatism is an emotional cult.
