I have recently watched the movie 2012 on dvd.

I can't explain how depressed I was shortly after.

Your opinion, please.

BP claims a lack of big spills has hurt oil spill cleanup

Recently, NBC reporter Tom Costello interviewed BP Exploration and Production Chief Operating Officer Doug Suttles on the "Today" show concerning the Deepwater Horizon oil spill within the Gulf of Mexico. Specifically, he asked Suttles for what his response was to the rapidly circulating info that oil spill cleanup technology is woefully behind the times, making the oil spill cleanup painfully inefficient. The response was that technology can’t be made with few oil spills. "There have been so few big spills," he explained Costello, "and events have not driven the technology change."

Climate Change Bill Hits Senate – Little Chance For Success

The Senate climate change bill was unveiled Wednesday after months of partisan bickering and the peevish defection of one of its main sponsors. Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic does an exceptional job dismantling this ridiculous claim:

In his first in-depth interview since the theft of UEA emails, the scientist blames inertia and democracy for lack of action

Humans are too stupid to prevent climate change from radically impacting on our lives over the coming decades. This is the stark conclusion of James Lovelock, the globally respected environmental thinker and independent scientist who developed the Gaia theory.

Alternative use of conventional Energy

I would really like to see the EPA-OBD II Annual Vehicle Emissions Inspection Law closely examined and changed. As it stands right now, it is entirely possible for any Gasoline powered Vehicle from 1996 to the present to fail it's Emissions Inspection, for not emitting enough polluting Exhaust Emissions !
