Is this still the same United States that I had always "looked up to"?

I have read somewhere that people shouldn't dispose their nonstick pans anywhere.. Is it true? and why is that?

As I was watching my kid playing around... so happy... so glad to be in this world, I stopped and thought, was this world the best place for her? I think yes... when everything was still so perfect and beautiful. But you see, that's not the case at all! She's born in this poorly treated, abused and dying world. Trashes here and there piling up... pollutions everywhere... global warming... everything is going down the drain. Personally, I get so depressed knowing that someday when I'm gone, she's gonna be left here all alone, inheriting all these burdens of this world that we had caused. I picture her in my mind, like a little baby, so confused with what to do with all these junks that we had left behind, so starved for cleaner water, food and even air... so exhausted of being punished by global warming.... so tired of suffering from our selfish, lazy, acts.

My whole point here is that seriously it's time. It was time. It had and it has always been time to start
