Two Houses

Hello Again -

A good friend in Cincinnati, who is probably a Republican, sent me that Email about "Two Houses" and how W's house in Texas was designed by a Texas Architect and uses geothermal power, and is very eco-friendly, while Gore's house in TN is huge and uses natural gas, and is a power guzzler. I guess the point is that Al is a hypocrite, although, I'm sure there are other details that are left out of this chain letter as well--although snopes.com says that the information is real.

All I have to say is....so what?

I'm sure that there are more details that are omitted; and my knee-jerk response is

a little waste is better than a lot of death.

Thousands of US Soldiers needlessly dying in Iraq; our own people, bodies floating

for days in New Orleans after Katrina...and that's city is still not whole.

I hope that the DNC uses some of these images in 2008, like the RNC used 9-11 and wolves in 2004.

Oh, and the billions of dollars that dissapear into Iraq---maybe they could build a couple of new bridges in Minn, or a couple of new levees or roads?

Hey Asshole,
Get the fuck out of Al Gore's house. You said "Bush isn't perfect"? tell that to the mother's who's sons are dying in Iraq. You say you don't know if your friend is a Republican? Man, you need better friends than that.

HELLOOOOOO!!??

That's a good idea guys and gals. Continue to bring up the Republican's issues but try to hide your own. Gore is a hypocrite. It's called MORALS. The definition being "doing what is right when no one is watching" and he fails miserably. I guess I could see it if over consumption of resources and the environment weren't his TOP priority, but does he really expect us to take on this problem with him leading the way yet being one of the top violators?? That's like helping a cop stop crime while he robs a bank. DUH!
I'll admit Bush isn't perfect, but who is? He has stayed true to his statements (even unpopular ones) from the beginning even against harsh treatment. I could go on forever on this so I'll make a point on a few issues real quick (hopefully quick anyway):
1. No one likes war. I hated it both times I was there but there are things called necessary evils. If you make a threat and don't follow through, you lose all creditability. Don't deny it...when those towers ot blown up, every one of ya'll wanted to find 'em and kill 'em too.
2. Yes the big oil companies exhaust a lot of resources, but if Gore would move out of that GIGANTIC house, they could probably cut down by half. (ok, that's a slight exaggeration.) He is, however; using something like 4 times the resources that the average person does.
I'll let these 2 points sink in a bit.......

re : two houses

I thought this post had got a little old by now , & that it had also been conclusively proven that it was BS .

Agreed

Very old and very debunked!
Total BS - proves they're worried, injecting this kind of junk into the mix again.

Joe sixpack is getting fed up

Mr. Gore is no hypocrite, Bush and his greedy cronies don't care about science or Global warming. Their personal home heating bills shouldn't be an issue at all, it's like going through someone's dirty laundry. It's really about the oil and energy companies that are destroying the enviornment. The Republicans will try to smear Gore with this type of garbage hoping that Joe sixpack will buy it. Problem is Joe sixpack is getting fed up with the billions of dollars going to a senseless war in Iraq. He's fed up also with the rich getting richer and no health insurance, etc, etc...
