Looks like Al's Out
Posted December 30th, 2007 by siameseoverlordWell folks, as much as I wanted to get involved, looks like Al's sitting this dance out.
While Hilary and Barack seem like nice candidtates, I will have to go for John Edwards, as he seems to be the supporter of the middle class.
The dissapearing middle class that the Republicans have worked so hard to eliminate over the last few decades.
I'd like to see Hillary as VP, or Obama as VP or Sec of State.
The only way we can recapture the White House is by Unity, not division.
good luck to all in Iowa.

Its Time to fish or cut bait
Posted November 8th, 2007 by siameseoverlordHello -
Its been a really busy Autumn. Fires around me, my wife in the hospital, and the financial pressures of the rat race in CA.
Today I found out that my house in Temecula is now worth about $70K less than what I paid for it. Gas is headed for $4 a gallon, and it seems like the economy is headed down the toilet again.
"Its the economy, stupid!" That's how we got rid of the first Bush. The second Bush will leave us like a big constipated turd that took too long to hit the water. Is it January 20th, 2009 yet?
Two Houses
Posted August 20th, 2007 by siameseoverlordHello Again -
A good friend in Cincinnati, who is probably a Republican, sent me that Email about "Two Houses" and how W's house in Texas was designed by a Texas Architect and uses geothermal power, and is very eco-friendly, while Gore's house in TN is huge and uses natural gas, and is a power guzzler. I guess the point is that Al is a hypocrite, although, I'm sure there are other details that are left out of this chain letter as well--although snopes.com says that the information is real.
All I have to say is....so what?

The Pen is mightier than the sword. Al's pen shows that his mind is aflame with brilliance, and that his leadership qualities will be unmatched. W's sword has shown that its certainly not mighty, or mighty terrible.
Presidents are remembered by their "writings" which are kept in their "libraries". W's will be written on confetti in a dixie cup, on a shelf, in a Texas kindergarten "liberry".
Al's Words and Deeds have been mighty, but the time for words is over. Actions speak louder than words.
WW II
Posted August 3rd, 2007 by siameseoverlordI belong to several singing groups. In the quest for "new music" a friend gave me a 4 CD's with the music of WWII. Songs like "Remember Pearl Harbor" "Arms for America" "The Man Behind the Man Behind the Gun" and other great inspirational songs of wartime.
The music, and the spirit of unity in the country was unmatched. We were fighting the biggest and most important global war ever...to date.
Americans had to Sacrifice, Support, Work, and band together. The President United the country against the common enemy, the Evil Axis of Facism.
Minn Bridge Collapse
Posted August 2nd, 2007 by siameseoverlordHello -
During the Great Depression, FDR put millions of people back to work rebuilding the USA's infrastructure. Highways, bridges, dams, railroads all were built with great public works projects like the NRA and the CCC. Its high time that many of these projects, (especially some of the outdated levee systems) were fixed.
