AMERICA FOR GORE CAMPAIGN – DRAFT AL GORE
There are so many of us across the United States, and as evidenced by blogs on the algore.org site, throughout the world, who want to see Vice -President Al Gore announce that he will be running for President in 2008.
Many grassroots campaigns have links to this site:
AMERICA FOR GORE.
On this site alone I counted 17 grassroots organizations as members.
It was with great pride that I saw the Press Release on America for Gore by Roy Gayhart and Patrick McGovern of algore.org and California4Gore.org, that they had secured organizers for all 53 Congressional Districts in California. See their release at:
California Draft Gore Poised to Put Gore’s Name on Ballot
People read many different sites for their political news. Some go to sites like "The Huffington Post". Others go to "Slate". One way that many people look at how often an article is read is by reading links to articles on Digg.com or Reddit.com.
To reach as many people as possible, I have "Dugg" the press release by Roy and Patrick. If you know how to use this site, please Digg this link:AMERICA FOR GORE CAMPAIGN – DRAFT AL GORE.
The more that this article is "Dugg", the higher the viewership it will have on this site.
As someone involved in the Los Angeles area campaign, I can see the volunteer movement swelling. I see the signs in articles across the Internet encouraging Al to run from the most unlikely of sources.
Al seems to pick up a new award on an almost a daily basis. Al Gore has several engagements in the Bay Area the week of October 8th. Chatter says that he is a strong contender for the Nobel Peace Prize on October 12th. Let's hope that the visibility of the California4Gore campaign which will be officially allowed to collect signatures after October 8th, and the Nobel Prize, will be significant impetus to encourage Al Gore to announce that he is running in mid- October for President in 2008.
