The president is also the head of the executive branch of the federal government and is also the supreme commander of the armed forces of United States. Article II of United States invest the executive power of the United States in the president. Which entitles him with the execution of federal law and also gives him the power of appointing federal, executive, diplomatic and judicial officers. These officers are appointed in order to assist him in his day to day activities.

Russian fires raging out of control across nation

Entire villages have burned to the ground and also the death toll was 48 as of Aug. 6. The wildfires liberally covered Moscow under a thick blanket of smoke and have left 4,000 individuals homeless. Some of the blazes threaten to re-release Russian nuclear contamination from the Chernobyl disaster locked up in the trees in certain areas.
Obama reports Iraq troop withdrawal prior to September

Creating a plan for the withdrawal of U.S. troops was started just after his election. After the program for withdrawal was put in motion, the White House has kept it on schedule. By August 31, only 50,000 service personnel will remain in Iraq. It is projected that all American forces will have left Iraq by the end 2011.

2010 Gaza blockade by Free Gaza Flotilla a PR victory for Hamas
Posted August 8th, 2010 by JaneDThe Gaza Blockade, a key aspect of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, was began about 3 years ago by Israel and Egypt to contain Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that controls Gaza. The Israeli raid on the Free Gaza Flotilla last week has refocused international attention on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and Gaza's isolation. Numerous international leaders question the reasons for the blockade to continue. Some critics call it inhumane oppression. Those in support say the blockade is essential to prevent rocket attacks by Hamas on Israeli soil.

2012 - Is It Time To Panic

I can't explain how depressed I was shortly after.
Is this really going to happen? Are we doomed? Why go to work tomorrow if this is inevitable ?
